Senator Michael Lee continues to have strong name ID with high favorables. His opponent, Jessica Bichler, is largely unknown.
Undecided voters respond to these positive messages about Lee:
- Michael Lee helped families deal with rising prices by cutting state income taxes in half and making the first $25,000 of every family’s income completely tax-free.
- Michael Lee voted to end sanctuary cities in North Carolina and to require sheriffs to cooperate with federal immigration officials when detaining illegal immigrants charged with crimes.
- Michael Lee championed North Carolina’s Opportunity Scholarship Program, which provides low- and middle-income families with scholarships to send their children to private school if their local public school isn’t meeting their needs.
Voters need to hear the following messages about Jessica Bichler:
- Jessica Bichler supports allowing biological boys to play in girls’ sports and allowing biological men to use the same locker rooms and bathrooms as women and girls.
- Jessica Bichler believes taxpayers should provide free healthcare to illegal immigrants as a form of reparations because of the harm that she says the United States has caused to other countries.
