Ashlee is a Wake Forest native who has a degree in Communications from Meredith College, a Nursing degree from Watts School of Nursing, and has worked at Durham Regional Hospital as well as WakeMed Hospital. However, before she began her nursing journey, Ashlee earned her Captain’s license from the United States Coast Guard and completed a Master Scuba Diver Trainer certification. She is also an entrepreneur who started a small event planning business in Wake Forest.
