Karen Kozel is a former North Carolina House Representative from the 10th District. She has been an educator for 30 years. Two years ago, she retired from the Executive Director position of Eastern Carolina Homeschool Organization.
Rep. Kozel is a dynamic leader who has put enormous hours and efforts in supporting various grassroots initiatives to improve the lives of rural North Carolinians. Rep. Kozel is an ardent supporter of sound economic policies that will improve the livelihoods of North Carolinians. She is an avid supporter for a smaller federal government and lower taxes that will put money in the pockets of North Carolinians.
Her sound economic policies will allow private businesses to thrive in North Carolina.As an educator, she understands the importance of a good education as well as the challenges that face the education sector. Rep. Kozel has pledged to support East Carolina University and protect it for the future.Kozel supports the access of healthcare to low-income NC residents. Kozel has pledged her support for Vidant hospital and will work tirelessly to enable the hospital to increase its capacity to care for more patients. The former NC House representative has a record for defending the constitution.
She will continue to work tirelessly to defend the Second Amendment rights of North Carolina residents. Defending the 2A rights is important especially for the rural NC residents who love to hunt and fish. Mrs. Kozel supports traditional family values that create a better community.
Rep Kozel is pro-life, pro legal immigration, anti – sanctuary cities, pro education reform, pro wall and she is supportive of the many farmers in her district, coming from a rural area in NC herself. Her desire is to get together with community leaders and hosting town halls to discuss solutions to issues in Greene and Pitt Counties.
