Tim Moffitt’s roots run more than 250 years deep in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Tim was raised in Henderson County and is a graduate of West Henderson High School. Although a college career wasn’t in the cards back then, Tim inherited an entrepreneurial spirit from his father Bobby, who, after serving in the U.S. Army, ran a local pest control company for more than 40 years. His dad also taught him the value of faith, hard work, and common sense — virtues that are too often in short supply among politicians these days.
Tim is now a successful, self-made businessman who manages the day-to-day operations of several businesses, including a small real estate firm, a mountaintop vacation and events venue, and Moffitt International, an executive search and management consulting firm. For more than three decades, he has assembled executive management teams and overseen a wide-array of high-profile projects for governments, Fortune 500 companies, and charitable organizations locally and all over the world.
